When Every Detail Matters: Madeleine & Rohan's Wedding

Some couples have to choose between a ceremony full of tradition and a reception that turns into a full-blown party. Madeleine and Rohan chose both — and pulled it off beautifully.

Their day began with a traditional ceremony at Graham Chapel and ended with a high-energy reception at the Coronado, two of St. Louis's most stunning venues. Woven through all of it was a blend of Indian and Western culture so thoughtful that it never felt like two weddings side by side. It felt like one celebration that belonged entirely to them.

A Traditional Ceremony at Graham Chapel

With its soaring stone arches and stained glass, Graham Chapel on Washington University's campus sets a tone of reverence the moment guests walk in. Madeleine and Rohan's ceremony honored that setting fully. It was traditional, heartfelt, and unhurried, the kind of ceremony where every guest leans in to catch each word.

Then the Coronado Came Alive

If the ceremony was the quiet heart of the day, the reception at the Coronado was its heartbeat. The historic ballroom filled with energy from the first song, and it never let up.

This is where a fusion celebration really tests a DJ. Bollywood and bhangra had to sit right alongside the Western dance-floor anthems the other half of the room knew by heart, and the transitions between them had to feel effortless. When it works, you watch aunties, college friends, grandparents, and coworkers all end up on the same dance floor. At Madeleine and Rohan's reception, it worked all night long.

Every Detail, Thoughtfully Chosen

What stood out most about this wedding was how intentional it all was. Every detail, from the venues to the music to the moments in between, was carefully considered and chosen to reflect both of their families and both of their cultures.

A Couple Who Made It Easy

As much as we loved the music and the venues, what we'll remember most is Madeleine and Rohan themselves. They were warm, genuinely kind, and grateful at every step, from our first planning call to the last song of the night. Couples like them are the reason we love what we do.

Madeleine and Rohan, thank you for trusting us with your day. We're so happy for you both.

Planning a Celebration That Blends Cultures?

Fusion weddings take more than two playlists stitched together. They need a DJ who understands the meaning behind each tradition, knows when to hold back and when to turn it up, and can keep two families' worth of guests dancing as one.

If you're planning a wedding in St. Louis that brings cultures, traditions, or families together, we'd love to hear your story. Reach out and let's talk about making your day feel as seamless, and as joyful, as Madeleine and Rohan's.
